Brisbane City Council Creative Register
Brisbane City Council’s Creative Register is an ongoing register for artists, performers, producers and vendors. Council uses it to notify registered creatives about future creative projects, events, grants, workshops, tenders and invitations to submit expressions of interest. The same Council arts page currently highlights its Outdoor Gallery program, including the AMPLIFY ME! exhibition, open 21 November 2025 to 25 October 2026, as an example of the kinds of public-facing arts activity Council runs. Registration does not guarantee work, but it is a direct route into future Council opportunity notifications.
Artist eligibility: Artists, performers, producers and vendors may join the register.
Splash of Colour — WA Artist Pool
Water Corporation’s Splash of Colour program maintains a pool of Western Australian artists for future murals on water and wastewater assets across the state. This is an ongoing artist-pool opportunity rather than a guaranteed commission: artists can register interest and may be considered when a project comes up in their area.
Artist eligibility: Western Australian artists interested in mural and public-art projects. Selection depends on upcoming projects in the artist’s local area.
Amsterdam Light Festival x Amarte Foundation Open Call
Amsterdam Light Festival and Amarte invite Netherlands-based makers who are new to light art to develop a work for walking visitors. Each selected maker receives a EUR 4,000 artist fee plus a EUR 20,000 production budget. Submissions close 7 December 2026 at 23:59 CET.
Artist eligibility: Makers based in the Netherlands who are new to the medium of light art.
Amsterdam Light Festival Open Call, Edition 16
Amsterdam Light Festival invites creatives worldwide to submit a light artwork concept for Edition 16 (2027–2028). Every selected maker receives a EUR 4,000 artist fee, while artwork production costs plus travel and accommodation are covered by the festival. Submissions close 7 December 2026 at 23:59 CET.
Artist eligibility: Open worldwide, to both established professionals and makers new to the festival.
Artist Basic Grant
The Artist Basic grant supports experienced visual artists to expand their body of work, visibility, research and experimentation. It is a fixed EUR 50,000 paid out over two to four years, and can be applied for at any time with roughly three months processing.
Artist eligibility: Visual artists professionally active for four years or more, artistically embedded in the Netherlands or the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
Grants for Artists
The Pollock-Krasner Foundation gives unrestricted grants to established, exhibiting visual artists working in painting, sculpture and works on paper. Applications are accepted year round through an online form, with review taking nine to twelve months. The foundation does not publish a grant amount.
Artist eligibility: Professional visual artists working in painting, sculpture or works on paper, with at least ten exhibitions in the past ten years and current gallery or museum activity. Students are not eligible, nor artists working primarily in photography, video or film, performance, graphic or commercial art, illustration, craft, or AI generated work.
Artist Start Grant
The Artist Start grant supports emerging visual artists to develop their practice and cultural entrepreneurship in the early years after starting out. It is a fixed EUR 24,900 for twelve months and can be applied for at any time.
Artist eligibility: Visual artists professionally active for at least one and no more than four years, embedded in the Netherlands or the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
Open Fund for Individuals
The Open Fund for Individuals supports research, development and delivery of creative projects of up to 24 months, including support for the artist's own time. Applications are open with no fixed deadline; decisions take ten weeks for requests up to GBP 20,000 and fourteen weeks above that.
Artist eligibility: Freelance or self-employed artists and creative practitioners aged 18 or over, living in Scotland, not in full-time education, holding a UK bank account in their own name.
Vizcaya Arts Residency and Commission 2027
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens invites one South Florida artist to develop a site-specific work responding to the theme Holding Time. The residency runs May to November 2027 in a dedicated studio, with an exhibition from November 2027 to May 2028.
Artist eligibility: Artists based in South Florida, at emerging, mid-career or established stage, working in any discipline.
Artist in Residence, Kunstort Lehnin
Kunstort Lehnin offers a one-month residency for professional artists of any discipline, with an apartment above the gallery, workshop access including woodworking and printmaking, and an honorarium of EUR 800 for the month. Sculpture and land art may remain in the on-site sculpture park. A contribution to transport of materials or works is not always possible.
Artist eligibility: Professionally working artists of all disciplines.
Ramsay Art Prize 2027
The Ramsay Art Prize 2027 is open to Australian artists under 40 working in any medium. The winning work is acquired into the Art Gallery of South Australia collection with a A$100,000 prize, selected from a finalist exhibition running 7 May to 15 August 2027.
Artist eligibility: Australian artists aged over 18 and under 40 at the closing date, entering as individuals, duos or collectives.
