The Artist Basic grant supports experienced visual artists to expand their body of work, visibility, research and experimentation. It is a fixed EUR 50,000 paid out over two to four years, and can be applied for at any time with roughly three months processing.

What is required
  • Four or more years of professional practice
  • Practice embedded in the Netherlands or Caribbean part of the Kingdom
  • Account on the Mondriaan Fund system
  • Application not retroactive
Eligibility

Visual artists with at least four years of professional practice, artistically embedded in the Netherlands or the Caribbean part of the Kingdom. Applications are not retroactive.
