Westward Ho! Public Art Project (EOI)

Torridge District Council seeks a lead artist for a bold, site-specific public artwork in Westward Ho! shaped with the local community. The selected artist receives a £15,000 design fee plus £5,000 community-engagement fee, with £30,000 for fabrication and installation. Three shortlisted artists receive £500 each to develop outline concepts.
- Maximum 400-word statement covering interest, immediate response to community survey and approach to community engagement
- Two examples of similar projects or commissions, maximum 2 A4 pages
- CV or online portfolio link
- Public-realm and community-collaboration experience is advantageous
Artists from Devon and across the UK; public-realm and community-engagement experience is advantageous.
